  13. The ASIAN CHALLENGE is an educational program, written for grades five  
  14. through ten, which provides the student with information concerning the 
  15. geography of the countries on the ASIAN continent.  It is to be used as 
  16. a supplement to text books and other instructional material.  It uses   
  17. the text adventure format to encourage the student to carefully read the
  18. information presented.  The text adventure format is an effective means 
  19. for holding the student's attention for prolonged periods.  Learning    
  20. becomes a fun experience and the student becomes much more interested in
  21. the study of geography.  The use of this program also increases the     
  22. student's reading and spelling capabilities.                            
  23.                                                                         
  24. This educational adventure is similar to a novel in which the student is
  25. the main character.  The students will visit most of the countries in   
  26. Asia.  In each country they will be presented with important facts      
  27. concerning the geographical features, early history, and animals native 
  28. to the country.
